Past, present, and future of forest accounting: an overview of the French experience

Few articles are available on this topic, especially about development on forest accounting in France. The French experience in this field is presented as expression of importance and difficulties related to this exercise. Discussion is open on broader international theoretical and practical challenges beyond forest accounting.
