Jeremy Johnson joins Annals of Forest Science as a new associate editor
Annals of Forest Science is pleased to welcome Dr. Jeremy Johnson to the Associate Editorial board.
Jeremy Johnson is an assistant Professor at Michigan State University. His primary research activity is focused on forest genetics and genomics, mostly by combining quantitative and population genomics to understand how forest trees respond to the multiple threats of climate change and non-native pests and pathogens. He uses greenhouse experimentation, common gardens, and dendrogenomic approaches to explore these lines of research and integrate my findings into tree improvement activities. His research goals are both basic and applied in scope with the aim of improving long-term forest health.
Dr. Johnson has contributed to 30 peer-reviewed papers focused on in forest tree genetics and tree improvement and particularly on adaptation to climate change and resistance to pests and diseases, as well as a couple of book chapters and preprints.
