This will be especially true as new technologies are developed requiring standards to be agreed. The maintenance of the guidelines will depend on an ongoing process of monitoring practices across the wheat community, and maintaining communication with those who are producing and using wheat data.\u00a0There are many ways you can help.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Become an adopter<\/span><\/strong>:\u00a0Please let us know\u00a0why\u00a0and how\u00a0these guidelines are helpful\u00a0to you and your institution. See the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/ist.blogs.inra.fr\/wdi\/adopters\/\">Current list of adopters<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Give your feedback<\/span><\/strong>: You can contact us either by email or by leaving a comment on a specific page. This is an easy way to propose improvements or corrections, update the state of the art and share best practice or useful tools.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">Join the maintenance group<\/span><\/strong>: The guidelines have been initiated by a working group in the context of RDA (Research Data Alliance: <a class=\"moz-txt-link-freetext\" href=\"https:\/\/rd-alliance.org\/\">https:\/\/rd-alliance.org\/<\/a>) and will be\u00a0maintained by the WheatIS (Wheat Information System: <a href=\"http:\/\/wheatis.org\/\">http:\/\/wheatis.org\/<\/a>) within the framework of the International Wheat Initiative (<a class=\"moz-txt-link-freetext\" href=\"http:\/\/www.wheatinitiative.org\/\">http:\/\/www.wheatinitiative.org\/<\/a>). This group is open and all contributions are welcome. You can join us to help keep the guidelines accurate and up-to-date with the latest standards and practices in Wheat research.
