They convey their personal view on the developments of their research areas and a comprehensive analysis of the challenges in their field.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;font-size: small;color: #ff0000\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000\" href=\"http:\/\/link.springer.com\/journal\/13595\/73\/1\/page\/1?utm_campaign=CON29789_2&amp;utm_medium=newsletter&amp;utm_source=email&amp;wt_mc=email.newsletter.8.CON29789.internal_2\" target=\"blank\">An invitation to read the latest special issue:<br \/>\n<b>50 Years Annals of Forest Science<\/b><\/a><br \/>\n<i>Complimentary access through September 30, 2016<\/i><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;font-size: small\">Moving towards &#8216;Open Science&#8217;, <b>Annals of Forest Science <\/b>is now introducing a specific section on data papers. Data papers aim at describing a dataset made accessible to a larger community. A data paper is completed by a metadata file that describes the dataset, and by the dataset itself being offered in an open repository. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.springer.com\/life+sciences\/forestry\/journal\/13595\/PSE?detailsPage=societies&amp;utm_campaign=CON29789_2&amp;utm_medium=newsletter&amp;utm_source=email&amp;wt_mc=email.newsletter.8.CON29789.internal_2\" target=\"blank\">Please find further information here<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;font-size: small\">In order to ensure the quickest publication and citation possible for its authors, <b>Annals of Forest Science<\/b> will change for a continuous article publishing procedure as of January 2017. Once accepted and ready for publication, papers will be directly published in an issue. This will simplify paper processing and indexing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"color: #035289;font-family: Times New Roman,serif;font-size: large\">Publish with impact &#8211; Your paper is welcome.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">N<span style=\"font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;font-size: small\">EW SERVICE: Authors may submit their manuscripts either on the <b>Editorial Manager<\/b> platform or via <b>Peerage of Science<\/b>.
